About Sophie Gallant

Sophie Gallant is a registered social worker since 2019.  She holds a Bachelor’s and Master of Social Work from Laurentian University and Dalhousie University. Originally from a rural Acadian community, she spent a decade in Nova Scotia with her husband, now a retired Canadian Armed Forces member. Fluent in both French and English, Sophie creates an inclusive, culturally sensitive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds.

With a broad range of professional experience, Sophie has worked in the education system and engaged in grassroots community initiatives. Additionally, Sophie has gained valuable experience with government organizations in Nova Scotia, including the Department of Community Corrections, the Department of Community Services, and the Operational Stress Injury Clinic.
