Welcome to our private psychology practice, where we offer bilingual psychotherapeutic services and psychological assessments. Our five clinicians combine decades of clinical and forensic practice in both the private and public
service. The founder of the Centre, Bernard Galarneau, has over 30 years of psychological practice as a clinical and forensic psychologist. Mr. Galarneau has testified as an expert witness in 5 Canadians provinces.

We are dedicated to providing high-quality services to individuals and organizations alike. We offer our services both in-person or via video conferencing.

Clinical And Forensic Psychology

Our clinical services include psychotherapy and various types of psychological assessments. Psychotherapy is offered to teenagers (16+) and adults for a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, and others.

Clinical assessments can attend to a variety of referrals including, comprehensive cognitive assessments (memory, attention, executive functions, cognitive abilities), learning disabilities and neuropsychological screenings. These assessments can help individuals better understand their cognitive strengths and weaknesses and inform the development of personalized treatment plans.

Forensic services include only psychological assessments. Psychotherapy services are not offered. Forensic services include comprehensive risk assessments for both violent and sexual risk. These assessments provide valuable information about recidivism risk for sexual and violent behaviour to the Courts, attorneys, probation services and individual referrals/requests. We also offer specialized risk assessments about the risk of violence in the workplace and at school.

Personality Assessment

We offer a complete and professional personality profile that identifies personality dynamics, personality traits and schemas. It also identifies specific psychopathologies and relevant recommended interventions. Both objective and projective techniques are available.
