About Dr. Janelle Gallant
Dr. Janelle Gallant grew up in a small French-Acadian village on the east coast. She is a wife, a mother, and a large dog owner (x2).
In May 2017, she graduated with an Honours Degree in Psychology and in May 2022, she graduated from her Doctorate Degree in psychology (Psy. D), both at the University of Moncton. Her honours thesis and graduate thesis both pertained to mindfulness, and both were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Geneviève Bouchard from the University of Moncton. Dr. Gallant has received support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) for the latter. In addition, the Canadian Psychological Association recognized her for her academic excellence, and she received a fellowship from The O’Brien Foundation for her research pursuits.
